Simmal Ltd is the UK’s leading aluminium extrusion and precision machining specialist. They rely on
next day delivery on many of their parts. A fault occurred on their aluminium plate saw that is used
to cut aluminium from 8mm to 250mm thick and is the first stage of many machining operations so
the repair was an extremely high priority. This is what Lee Pepperell (quality manager) said about the
experience:

We pride ourselves in our business sector as being able to react quickly to urgent customer
requirements and our equipment needs to allow us to offer next day delivery on most items. We
needed a quick, local repair of a damaged board that controls key systems of a major plate cutting
machine in our production unit. A Google search got us in contact with Zack at Mobile-Recharge. Not being
experts in PCB technologies nor components, we explained as best we could what the issue was and
Zack seemed to know what might be needed. We popped the unit into Mobile-Recharge on the Thursday and
had confirmation the next morning that it would be ready to collect at lunchtime, less than 24hr
turnaround! The board was repaired, serviced, tested and supplied back cleaner than it had ever
looked. Amazing service, skill and a genuinely great experience!

Graham at CM Tooling is a regular customer of Mobile-Recharge and has been since the business began;
however, units in the Siemens Simodrive 611 range are a common repair for Mobile-Recharge, just like this
50A LT module. The repair from Graham was not urgent as he had a spare keeping the CNC machine
still operating so a standard 7 day turn around sufficed.
